Shannon Monique Basnight was born on
Shannon lived all of her life in Herndon Virginia, growing up she joined Mount Pleasant Baptist Church where she was Baptized and sang in the children’s choir.
Shannon attended Dranesville Elementary, Herndon middle school, and Some of Herndon High school. Because of a behavioral problem she was transferred to the Dunn Loring School where she was diagnosed with Bi polar disorder.
Shannon worked in a few places like Cuisine Solutions, Giant, Safeway and finally Café Rio. However working at Safeway as a night stocker was by far her favorite job.
Shannon lost her battle with her Bi Polar disorder by self-medicating to ease the pain of her depression.
Shannon leaves to cherish her loving memory her 10 year old son Keith Victor Basnight, her dad Chris and mom Cheryl, two sisters Kristin (Krissy) and Shayonda (Shelly) her aunt Monique Robinson, her uncle Don (Diana) Basnight her favorite uncle and aunt Fentress and Alice Basnight, her uncle Joseph (Christine) Clifford, her God parents Althea and Daniel Knight and another Godmother Darleen Belton as well as cousins and friends she met along the way.
