Obituary of Mary Joann Delaney

Mary Joann Delaney, 79, of Bayse, VA, passed away on October 8, 2018 in Berryville, VA after succumbing to cancer.

Born on June 20, 1939 in Tryon, NC she was the daughter of the late Percy “Red” Clement and Mary Stiles. 

Joann spent several years as a registered nurse before moving into childcare. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph John Delaney and their three daughters, Donna Gonzalez, Patricia Whitham, and Nancy Delaney. She was also blessed with five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6pm – 8 pm on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Adams Green Funeral Home.
