Obituary of Diosdado DeJesus

Diosdado dela Cruz de Jesus – “Dody”, 89, of Manila, Philippines, passed away on October 8, 2018 at home (Sucat, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila).

Visitation will be held at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170 on October 26, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Funeral service and burial will be held privately by the family with Rev. Msgr. Mariano Balbago Jr. officiating.

Diosdado was born in Manila, Philippines to Ricardo de Jesus, Sr and Esperanza dela Cruz on September 19, 1929. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Iluminada de Jesus. He went to high school at Torres High School and graduated in 1945. He went on to earn a degree in Bachelor of Science, Major in Accounting from University of the East. He worked as a Banker for China Bank for 10 years and thereafter established his own furniture factory. He enjoyed swimming and travelling.

Diosdado is survived by his five children, Ricardo, Josephine, Jocelyn, Rossana, Lisa, sister Corazon and his grandchildren, Christopher, Christel, Jeffrey, John and Lara.
