Obituary of Betty Jane Lambert

Betty Jane Lambert, 82, who lived in the Washington area for more than 60 years, died Sunday, March 8, at her home, due to stroke-related health issues.
Betty Jane Lambert first came to live and work in the D.C. and Arlington areas in the 1940's, and then later moved to Falls Church, VA, and then Sterling, Virginia. She worked for CVS for more than 30 years and was still actively working until her stroke in 2007. Her two favorite hobbies were playing bingo and bowling.
Beloved wife of the late Roger N. Lambert. She is survived by three daughters, Diane Wills, Lisa Peltzer and Robin Lucas; three sons, Randy Bullen, Steve and Michael Lambert all of the metropolitan area; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom she adored; and many devoted friends and relatives.
Family will receive friends and relatives Friday, March 13, 2009 from 6-8pm, with a Memorial Service to be held at 7pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium will be March 25, 2009 at 3pm. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Evercare Hospice, Loudoun County, VA.
