Obituary of Evangelina Go Wei

Evangelina Wei, 93, of Sterling, VA, passed away on Monday January 28, 2019.

Born on December 27, 1925 in Manila, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Ignacio Go Boncan and the late Rosario Sanchez She was the middle child among 11 siblings and survived by her two sisters, Victoria Lao and Carmelita Ong.

She married the late Kina Wei in 1945 and bore 8 children: Ernie, Tess, Tony, Lulu, Precy, Louie, Evelyn and Archie. She had 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She is the pillar of the family- a loving, caring and strong woman who raised her family, imbued them with wisdom and practical life lessons and left loving memories to her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. She shares her passion for travel, cooking and gardening with her family.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday February 3, 2019 at Adams Green Funeral Home 2^nd floor. 

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 4 at 10:00 AM at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.   Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
