Condolences from the entire Stocking family. There are many wonderful memories about Janet, starting back from the Madison Manor neighborhood days in Arlington. Our mother Doris often spoke of Janet's beauty and her love for the entire Gavin family. Sympathies to Jeff, Chris, Barbara, and Doug (whom I have memories from the Arlington 80 pound football league (Black Knights versus Arlington Cubs) many, many years ago.

I will always remember Janet’s beautiful smile and laugh. She had an amazing love for Doug, her husband, whom she called her rock. She was always so thankful of how he stood by her through the ups and downs of life and health issues in particular. I knew Janet as we had children who went to school together and then later she attended Bible Study at my home. She spoke affectionately of her love for her children and of her faith in the Lord. Janet prayed for each of them. She was so thankful for the blessings that she had in her life, despite the health challenges she faced. I offer my deepest condolences to the Saunders family and extended family for your loss. I look forward to seeing her again one day in heaven.

I am so sorry to hear about Janet's passing. Janet was always such a sweet person who was caring; and always there to make people feel good. We were friends in school, and in our neighborhood. A few years ago we arranged to have lunch and catch up. We had such a nice time. May God comfort all her friends and loved ones.

I met Janet through my friend Mary Ann Ritter Youn-Batten. We had a delightful lunch together, and we were friends on Facebook. I am so very sorry for your loss.
