Obituary of Rose E. Lightowler

Rose E. Lightowler, age 94, died on September 18, 2007 at her daughter's home in Vienna, VA. She was born on May 19, 1913 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Francis and Mary Katula. Rose was the beloved wife of the late David Lightowler, loving and devoted mother of David F. Lightowler of Stanley, VA and Mary K. Martin and her husband Daniel of Vienna, VA, sister of Julia Kollar and George Katula, both of Pittsburgh, PA, proud grandmother of Nancy, David, Rosanne and Sean and one great-granddaughter, Josi. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22 nd from 10am to 11am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11900 Lawyers Road, Reston, VA 20191, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Interment will be held on Monday, September 24 th at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, PA. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to St. John Neumann's Catholic Church Building Fund or Capital Hospice, 6565 Arlington Blvd., Suite 501, Falls Church, VA 22042.
