Obituary of Jeannette Rowena Weston

Jeannette Rowena “Jeannie” Weston, 71 of Herndon, VA, passed away on the 20^th of February, 2019 at her home.

Jeannie was born in Pasadena, California to Tom and Molly-Ann Groebe on June 23, 1947. She went to Morningside High School in Inglewood, California, and graduated in 1965. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Business from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, in 1975 and her Master in Business Administration from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, in 1988. She most recently worked as a Senior Business Analyst for Mid-States Title and had been there for 16 years. Jeannie enjoyed quilting and sharing time at the cabin in West Virginia with her husband. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

Jeannie was the beloved wife of Tim Weston of Herndon, Virginia, an inspiration to and devoted mother of Amy McDougal of Stafford, Virginia and Becky Blackwell and her husband Scott of Canton, Georgia, proud sister to Dennis Groebe and his wife Carol of Fairhope, Alabama, and Tom Groebe and his wife Sue of Las Vegas, Nevada, and loving “Gramma” of Brandon (and Kristen), Casey, Brooke, Sami, Alissa, Dallas, Spencer, Haley, Katie and Zack. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Molly-Ann Groebe.

Family and friends will gather for a memorial service at  Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, Virginia, on Monday, February 25^th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Moshier officiating.
