I was so sorry to read about Dawn's death. However, in death, there is eternal life in heaven. Please be comforted in knowing that Dawn is in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and her beautiful smile will again be seen.

Laughing laughing laughing!
Dawn and I were partners in our classroom and partners in crime in our private lives. She was always quick with a witty comment or a funny reflection on the oddities of life (and people;), and longsuffering in finding solutions to problems that presented themselves.
Dawn and I shared a passion for healthy foods AND sweets. One of my most vivid memories is how her eyes would light up, her mouth would pucker at the corners, and the little "num, num" that would come out of her mouth when she knew treats were to be had, always followed by a big grin and giggle!
Such a compassionate and reflective soul.
Dawn - I miss your presence already! ❤

Dawn was my riding partner from Mill Run when I was their DARE officer...we had such good times riding the horses on the trails. Even bad days on the trails were good days with Dawn - she will be missed.

I have so many memories of Dawn from my awkward teenage years. There are two that stick out prominently. The first is a time that Dawn and Aunty K were driving Katy and I to the mall and we were at a major intersection waiting at a stop light when a middle-aged woman in a business suit and sensible heels began to in a frogger-like manner cross route 7. Without skipping a beat Dawn and Aunty K began narrating this woman's harrowing journey as though it were a national geographic nature documentary. Katy and I were laughing hysterically which I think only fueled their enjoyment of their narration. She was so funny and quick-witted.
The second memory that stands out is a phone call I had with her in my senior year of high school. I was on the bus home from an overnight field trip and called trying to get a hold of Katy. She asked me how things were going with my college decisions and we ended up having an hour long conversation where she gave me a lot of advice on my career in teaching and life choices that have helped guide me through my life even today. I always felt heard and respected by Dawn and will miss her quick-witted humor and sage advice. I know your daughters miss you and love you and wish you could be here to watch them grow old. You'll never be forgotten. Rest in peace and love.
