I worked with Roy at EPA's Office of Resource Conservation and Recovery and he was such a wonderful person. Roy was always quick to help and could always answer your question or find an answer for you. He was such a up-beat person and such fun to be around. He will be missed. Sending thoughts and prayers to his family.

I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. Roy loved his family and was very proud of all of you.
Roy was good to everyone that crossed his path; always leaving smiles behind. He will remain alive in all of our hearts just as Doris, Big Roy and Denny are.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences upon the death of your loved one (Roy). I worked with Roy for many years in the Facilities Department at EPA. Roy was a great guy and a wonderful friend. Roy was part of the group of guys in facilities that would gather in his office and discuss sports and the days events. Roy and I exchanged Christmas CD's (that we recorded on our own) one holiday season. I still have the one he gave to me and I listen to it at Holiday time.
We were all sorry when Roy left Facilities and took another management position at another EPA location. We were happy for him personally. Whenever he came to the Reagan Bldg. for other business, he would stop at Facilities and visit as many of us as possible. I retired in 2015 and he came by to see me before I left. I remember him buying the Corvette (after I bought an older Datsun 280Z). I hope that he had a chance to enjoy the Corvette.
I remember Roy always talking about his wife (Donna) all the time. Roy was always well respected and I will always think fondly of him. May God bless your family. I pray that Roy will rest in peace.

To Donna and the family, I want to express my deepest heartfelt condolences with Roy’s passing. So many years have passed since I first met Roy at Stratford Junior High School as we were entering the 7th grade. Today, as I write this, I reflect back on the countless memories I have of Roy. From those grueling days in August when we shared two-a-day football practices… to the memories of our college years... to a 4th of July Beach Boys concert at the Washington Monument… to late nights sharing conversation with Roy, friends and his mother in their kitchen. All such wonderful memories of Roy.
The last time I saw Roy was about a year ago. We had lunch and a beer, and as so many times before, we laughed and relished in those stories and memories past. How much fun it was! Life takes us all on our own journeys, but when you have a friend for more than 50 years, and you get together, and it’s as if you never skipped a beat, it just doesn’t get any better! That was my lunch that day with Roy. He may have left us on this earth, but for those who knew him, he will never leave us, and we know we were blessed for having been able to share time with him. He was as good a friend as one could have. I will miss him very much.

Donna(s) and Family, we were so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. Our thoughts and prayer go out to you at this difficult time. Jesus told us that His Father had many mansions and He went there to prepare a place for us. Roy is there in one of those mansions for sure! Keep looking up!

Roy never had a bad thing to say about anyone. We attended a year of elementary school together in 1961. We shared great memories in Junior High and High School. Roy was a winner and a gentleman. We'll miss you Roy. See you soon buddy.

I saw this anonymous quite awhile ago: "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal but love leaves memories no one can steal." I will always cherish the nostalgic conversations Roy and I had, along with my brother, about his parents, my parents and our grandparents. As Bob Hope would say and sing many years ago at the end of shows. "Thanks for the Memories" Thank you so much for the memories Roy, RIP.
