Obituary of Sharon Gill Davis

Sharon Davis, 63, of Herndon, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family.  

Sharon was born on 2nd January, 1956 in Singapore. She was the daughter of the late Amar Singh and the late Paro.  She began her working life at the Port Authority of Singapore, and spent twelve years as a flight attendant and instructor for Saudia Airlines, where she travelled the world. After her children were born, she began a career in the legal field, serving five years at Al-Sawaf in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and retired from Venable, LLP in Tyson's Corner, VA. She was an active tennis player, an accomplished cook, a vivacious and charming hostess, a devoted wife and a loving mother. 

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Gerald Davis, her two children, Tara and Alex Davis, and her two sisters, Geeta Schoenmakers and Dolores Gill.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Adams Green Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2019, also at Adams Green Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends following the service at the family home.
