She was a member of the Washington DC alumni chapter and earned several distinguished awards in recognition of her service and leadership to the music community. She was dedicated to the Friday Morning Music Club, planning many events in the Washington DC area to share her love of music. Carolyn was a force of nature who loved a gathering and planning a soirée for friends and family. She married two wonderful and adoring husbands; Edward Duignan and Milan Valuch. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Ann and Max Bullock. She will always be our “AC from DC” and missed by her nephews Bob Bullock, Steve Bullock, Phillip Bullock and niece Deanne Bullock.
