Obituary of Ellen Kathrin Chabin

Ellen Kathrin Chabin, 60, of Reston, Virginia passed away on Thursday May, 23, 2019 at Reston Hospital Center.  Ellen was born June 13, 1958 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to the late Harry and Anna Chabin.  She received her Bachelors Degree from Lock Haven State College.  She worked as a Nursing Home Administrator for the Manor Care Company.

Ellen is survived by her brother Larry Chabin, retirement community of The Villages in Florida.

Ellen loved caring for her Shih Tzu dogs and her small flower garden.   Ellen shared what she had and was generous to a fault, especially when it came to holiday and birthday gifts for family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 3, 2019 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Herndon. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Ellen’s Memory.
