I remember working in the house & Janet & I were the only ones there. I think Steve & Wanda were at the River.It was about 2 in the afternoon & I heard this loud music coming from the basement. Janet was playing Travis Tritt "It's a Great Day to Be Alive"! ...Janet you're awesome!

I first met Grandma Janet shortly after Jay and Nikki’s engagement. It was like “lightening!” There are those who believe that when you have an encounter like this, it means you’ve met this person in another life. By looking at her early pictures, I KNOW I have had that
privilege.
We met at the many Mitchell get togethers. This eventually turned into lunches. We didn’t need conversation, looking in each other’s eyes was all we needed to converse. I remember her eyes and her excitement when she learned about my 1988 300ZX little red sports car. Our next lunch date turned out to be quite exciting!!
I wanted to have one more visit but that wasn’t meant to be. I firmly believe she is now part of my soul family so I will meet her again
