Obituary of Emma Frances Paige

On Wednesday, July 3, 2019, Mrs. Emma Frances Paige, peacefully departed this life of natural causes at the Fairfax Nursing Center in Fairfax, VA.  

Emma was born on July 15, 1915 in Fairfax County, VA. She spent all of her life in Herndon, VA. She was baptized at an early age at the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Emma entered into holy matrimony with her late husband, Carroll Emory Paige, Sr. at a young age and from this union two sons were born, William Paige and Carroll Paige, Jr. (deceased). She worked for Dr. William Meyers in Herndon, VA for 50 years. Afterwards, she spent 20+ years doing domestic work. Her passion was cooking.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Carroll Emory Paige, Sr., her son Carroll Emory Paige, Jr., two grandchildren Loretta Nicole and Carroll Emory, III, her mother Julia Power, her father, Harry Howard, and stepfather Richard Power.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one devoted son, William Paige, of Sterling, VA, seven grandchildren; Fran (Eric) Crawley, Lance Paige, Carol Reynolds, Richard Paige, Arretta Paige, Kirk Paige, and Jason Paige, 12 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, and one daughter-in-law, Geneva Paige.

She also leaves to cherish her memories two Special Cousins Franklin B. (Pete) and Joseph L. Baker (Joe), a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
