Bernice was a lovely soul generous with her time, talents, and treasure. She would create beautiful jewelry to be sold at the Epiphany United Methodist Church Christmas Bazaar and generously donated the proceeds to the church. I will always treasure the pieces I bought and remember Bernice fondly every time I wear a necklace she made. Rest in peace, Bernice. The Lord has called you home.

Bernice lived a valued life. She was always full of joy, and so willing to share her talents. She donated all the proceeds from her jewelry sales at Epiphany United Methodist Church’s Christmas Bazaar to the church for many years. Rest in the arms of the Lord, Bernice.

Bernice’s table at the Lake Anne Farmers/Craft Market was one of my favorite spots on Saturday mornings. She always had an unusual collection of jewelry...of which I own many pieces...my Bernice Hines Collection. One of my favorite pieces she named the “ugly necklace”...looked like bones.
We would chat for almost and hour and she would talk about her life, family...there was always something about her granddaughter. My sincere condolences to her family.
I think of her every time I visit Lake Anne. She was a wonderful person and will be missed.
