I knew Frank Furey very well in college but haven't seen him in 40 years. However we always exchanged Christmas cards. He seemed fine in last card so I would like to know how he died. I was his campaign manager for something he was running for in college. His campaign slogan was Hell hath no Furey like a Frank. Pretty racy for Catholic U.
We laughed a lot - Frank had a great sense of humor. I just found out about his passing so now I will miss the chance to ever see Frank again. My condolences to his three boys - I'm sure he was a great dad.

I knew the family through my mother who worked side by side with your grandmother as nurses many years ago running the health unit in the federal government. As a teenager I remember my mom and your grandma telling funny tales to each other about their children, and then about Frank and his boys and how nice of a person Frank was and how much he loved those boys. I remember talking to Frank years later when I started working with the government and he was helping me out with a situation and then realized that we sort of knew each other and had heard stories of each other through our moms; at the time both were still with us. Sending my love and condolences on behalf of my mom (Dorothy Williams) and the rest of my family.

To The Furey Boys, Chris, David, Alex,
We do not know each other but I knew your father. He was an amazing man who loved you all totally and completely. I have fond memories of the time he spent in Vegas with Susan's family. He treated me like Family. I pray for all of you to find peace with your loss . Memories will carry you through. He may not be physically with you but his love always will. God Bless you all.

My sincerest condolences to the Furey family! I didn’t know Frank personally, I remember him being a very happy and nice guy as I passed through Holly Knoll as a child. I know Chris Furey, a very stand-up guy and he and his father were so close. I hope you get through this incredibly difficult time with constant memories of the joy Frank brought to your life. Celebrate his life, that’s what any good man would want for their family and loved ones. God bless!

I'm very, very said that Frank has been lost to all of us, but grateful for what he gave the world during his time here.
My prayers are with you all, and I hope you will call on me to help as the days and months go by.
