Obituary of Jacob Allen Hixson

Jacob Allen Hixson, 33, of Sterling, VA, passed away on September 25th, 2019.  

Jake was born and raised in Northern Virginia, surrounded by his family and friends.  His love for music ranged from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to Johnny Cash, The Eagles, and Strike Anywhere.  Movies were a passion of his.  To this day, he still has movies on VHS that are very neatly organized.  He was an amazing photographer and loved to capture anything out of the ordinary.  Jake was particularly fond of black and white photography.  He was meticulous about everything, including his clothes. 

Jake was full of compassion to a fault and touched the lives of so many.  He was an amazing friend.  The long conversations with those he loved will be missed.

Jake is survived by his father, Thomas Allen Hixson, Sr.;  mother, Diane Marie Hixson; brother, Thomas Allen Hixson, Jr.; sister, Danielle Marie Hixson; grandmothers Shirley Hixson and Joan Huff; niece, Destiny Marie Hall; nephew De’Relle Malachi Hixson-Paige and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Edwin Hixson, Sr., and Elwood Huff.  

Family will receive guests at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA on Tuesday, October 1 from 11:00am until service begins at 12:00 noon.
