Jack, I am very sorry to hear about Doris. You and Doris came to Madison House in Leesburg when I worked there as a Home Health Aide. You always gave me enjoyment when you came to visit the residents during their lunch hour. I will always remember Doris for the beautiful music she provided, and the strength and encouragement she gave everyone for following the teachings of the Bible. My mother and I are deeply saddened to hear of Mrs. Fletcher's passing. We always enjoyed seeing/talking to her & Mr. Fletcher when they use to take their daily walks around Sterling Road. She now rests in God loving arms! The family is in our thoughts & prayers!

DORIS AND I SHARED A SPECIAL FRIENDSHIP WHEN WE WERE CLASS- MATES AT HERNDON HIGH SCHOOL. WE CELEBRATED OUR GRADUATION FROM HHS IN 1954 AMONG MANY TREASURED FRIENDS. WE HAVE REMEM- BERED HER AT OUR CLASS REUNIONS WHICH WE HAVE HELD EVERY 10 YRS., ESPECIALLY, AT OUR 65TH WHICH WAS HELD ON JUNE 15, 2019. Since the mid-70s, having a great time with the Fletcher kids was part of growing up, and after leaving for the USAF, sharing the love of aircraft with Dale. Clearly, Dale's two rocks were his loving mother and father. Whenever I'd visit Dale over the years, Doris would always greet me with a huge smile and stories from the week, and my son when he was with me, it was obvious how much they cared for us. Great sense of family and love, and Doris was a strong part of that. Godspeed. Stay strong.
