I worked with tubby at fairfax auto parts in falls church, he was great teacher with helping me with any auto parts question. He would always make you laugh and had plenty of stories to tell. He introduced me to his son BO who gave me a very nice tattoo. I know tubby was a great husband and great father to kids and grandchildren, he will be truly miss. Your pal big john.

Pops was a man who could make anyone smile, a man who didn’t care about how you looked, dressed, or talked but you better be prepared for the jokes! One things for sure I’ll never forget his hugs, they were a perfect balance of warmth, strength, and the pure meaning of love. I saw Tubby's transformation when Jesus called him. He was manifested as one of God's treasures of art. A quiet life, well-lived and he cast a tall shadow for his family.
