Obituary of Iva Elizabeth Forshee

Iva Elizabeth Nesselrodt Forshee, 91, of Nokesville, Virginia, passed away December 2^nd, 2019 at her Granddaughter’s home surrounded by family and loved ones in Gadsden, Alabama.

She was welcomed home by her husband of almost 47 years George Horace Forshee and her daughters Mary Elizabeth Forshee and Barbara Ann Forshee Jennings.

She is survived by seven children, Ralph Forshee and wife Pam or Strasburg, Frances Fox of Bealeton, Roger Forshee Sr. of the home, Pam Moore and husband Troy of Culpeper, George William St. of the home, Joyce Fox of Ruckersville, and Deborah McCallam and husband Charlie of Culpeper, as well as 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:30AM to 12:00PM followed by a service at 12:00PM on December 12 at Adams-Green Funeral Home located at 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA 20170.  David Nesselrodt will officiate.  Interment will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon at 1:15PM. A homecoming celebration will be held following the interment at the Bealeton American Legion located at 11420 James Madison Highway, Remington, VA.
