Obituary of David Warren Connor

David W. Connor, 54, a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 9, 2019 in his home in Reston, Virginia. Dave was born on February 21, 1965 at 11:07 pm in Gainesville, Florida. He is survived by his loving parents, his mother, Jana Partain and step-father, Ray, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and his father, Earl Connor and step-mother, Mary, of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He also left behind his sister, Nicole Ferguson and brother-in-law, Kevin, of Alexandria, Virginia, and his niece, Amanda Ferguson, along with his aunt, Gingir Andrews and uncle, Marvin, of Tallahassee, Florida, his aunt, Ginger Johnson, of Austin, Texas, in addition to several loving cousins. He was predeceased by his uncle, James Johnson, of Houston, Texas. Dave had a great passion for music. He was a very talented guitar player, and had participated in the live music scene in Austin, Texas in the 1980's with a group of musicians. He continued mastering his music skills and techniques all his life. He also had deep love for his family and for his pet cats. Dave enjoyed and appreciated his plants, his guitar collection, his Ford Mustang and his closest friends. He was extremely bright and was always a leader in everything he did and accomplished. He had risen to class president in his Freshman year of high school, and served as president of his community homeowners association for decades. He was a successful business owner for many years also. Dave will be missed very, very much, as his life was way too short. He was loved immensely by his family and will be kept close in the hearts of his loved ones, always. A private service was held on Thursday, December 12th at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, Virginia.
