Obituary of Michael F. Werner

Michael Fredrick Werner, age 80, of Falls Church, Virginia, was received into the arms of a loving God on December 21, 2019. Michael was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on March 20, 1939 to Booth and Winifred Werner. He graduated with a BA from the University of Wisconsin. In 1964 he married Karen E. Lundgren. Together they raised two children, Karl F. Werner and Elizabeth M. Werner. Michael worked as a Civil Engineer in the mobile home industry, steel industry, and concrete and masonry industry. He was an active member and Elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Elkhart, Indiana; Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, Maryland; and finally at Lewinsville Presbyterian Church in McLean, Virginia. Michael is survived by his two children as well as two grandchildren, Sarah Werner and Megan Werner. A service to the witness to the resurrection and celebration of life and a reception will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, January 12, at Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, McLean VA.
