Obituary of Arthur Lee Testerman

Please share a memory of Arthur to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Art Testerman passed away peacefully in Winchester VA on December 20, 2019 Art was a fun loving guy who loved his dear family and friends. His love of airplanes started way back in his younger years and that is where his profession in aviation began. He served 12 years in the Air Force and then was a flight instructor with smaller aircraft. He told me he flew Andy Griffin and Arthur Godfrey around different places. Later on he started his profession as an aircraft mechanic working at Page Airways, Piedmont Airways, and US Air. He retired in the aviation field in 2000 with many years of exciting experiences. Art also had a big love for fishing and hunting and he enjoyed that he enjoyed with his sons Jerry and Randy. Of course I his wife enjoyed our many fishing trips together as we always talked about the fun we had together. He is survied by his wife Janet Testerman, his children Janet Lee Stephenson, Patricia Nolan, Jerry Testerman and Randy Testerman (deceased) Grandchildren Billy Stuphin, Brett Choyce, Brandon Choyce, Justin Nolan, Hannah Testerman, Tony Stephenson, Steven Stephenson, Dan Weber. Great Grandchildren,Jordon Choyce, Carter Choyce, Randy Stephenson, Savannah Stephenson, Lexi Stuphin, Jackson Duncan,Blake and Declan Weber. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
