Obituary of Sandra Antoinette Hensler

It is with great sadness that the family of Sandra A. Hensler announces her passing on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at the age of 75. As many know, Sandra suffered with many ailments over the years. She survived two bouts of cancer, managed the pain of all three types of arthritis and fibromyalgia, and most recently was doctoring a blood clot in her lung. She was a tough cookie who loved life, her family and her friends with every fiber of her being. Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jennifer Womack (Michael) and Gregg Hensler (Nicola Johnson), her four grandchildren, Neill, Amy, Christina (Richie) and Michelle (Alex), and her great-grandsons Richie, aka “Lil Dude” and Logan; her brother Tom Banas (Lillian), her sisters, Mary Ellen Pelligrine (Randy) and Cynthia Marciniak and by her loving partner, Bill Jackson. Predeceased by her husband Carl M. Hensler, her son Paul A. Hensler and her parents, Anthony J. and Marie A. Banas, we are certain that she has been lovingly received. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Sandra's favorite charity.
