My Brother, you are now with the Lord. I know you weren't in good health but your passing is still very painful. We met on the famous 199th Street football field (the street) in 1962 and our friendship grew and grew over the years. Even when your family moved to Panama in 1964 things did mot change. After your father passed you and your mother moved back to 2407 Darrow Street in Silver Spring. We saw each other again in 1969 when I was in Virginia for AIT. We did not see each other again until 2001. We had a ball on that night and that was when I met the love of your life Carleen. The next time and unfortunately the last time was in 2003 when I was in Virginia again. All those years we remained close and I treasure those years. I am on the honor flight list to come to Washington this year and I was planning to see you and Carleen again. I will try to arrange a visit with Carleen but it won't be the same. My wife and I send our deepest condolences and prayers to your family. May your memory always be strong in everyones' heart. May the Lord shine his light upon you all. Farewell old friend and may you bring as much joy to heaven as you did on Earth. God bless you always.
Your old friends,
Tom and Debra Greenamyer

Word can not express the sadness felt from the loss of losing someone so dear as Denis. I know that words of comfort may not seem comforting, but do know that it does get a little less harder as time passes. For now and forever you can count on the boys and me for anything and everything you guys need. I love you.Bertha

Dennis was a big part of many fun moments of my childhood. There was a period when I spent almost as much time in his home as I did in my own, and he always made me feel welcome. Trips to sports memorabilia shows and the occasional Orioles game are memories I will always cherish. Dennis was an amazing person and father who will be missed.

I am so sad to have heard about Mr. Kostick. He was a super human being and left a big impact on my life. Loved his fish and sports memorabilia, but it was his conversations that I enjoyed the most. He will be missed.

Dennis was the most interesting man that I have ever met. I loved looking at his fossils, sports memorabilia, historical collections, and his pictures of space. He was a true renaissance man, knowledgeable on all topics of conversation. The impact that Dennis had on my life has made me a better person in all facets of my life. I will miss him sorely.
Love,
Glenn

Oh Dennis Kostick. I could write an entire series on our time that we’ve shared together. From meeting you when I was 3 to now being 20. But one thing I can say for sure is that meeting you was probably one of the best things that could have ever happened to me. You have no idea the influence you were in my life, and how you helped carve my path. I’m so grateful for everything you’ve ever done for me, and taught me. From growing crystals for my 1st grade science fair, to meeting astronauts, and athletes with you, to spending all summer on the boat, to finding shark teeth and talking about fossils for hours. To me you were more than just a family friend, to me you were my grandfather and always will be. As you always said, “friends are the family we chose” And I’m so glad we chose each other. I love you buddy, and I know I’ll see you again one day, where we’ll once again we’ll be united. Behave yourself
