Obituary of Margaret Mary Manthey

Margaret M. Manthey, 71 a home maker formerly of Lansdowne, died July 6, 2008 at Reston Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 1100 am. on July 12, 2008 at Christ the Redeemer Church in Sterling Virginia, with reception following at Sterling Park Baptist Church. Burial will be at August 21 st at 9:00 am at Arlington Cemetery. Mrs. Manthey was born on January 20, 1937 in Corner brook Newfoundland, Canada to the late Samuel Joseph Kennedy father and Mary Ann Spencer. Shortly after high school she married Eugene E. Manthey and traveled as an Air force wife. Survivors include Ronald E. Manthey, Dallas Texas, Linda M. Schrader, Niceville, Florida, Donald E. Manthey, Sterling, Virginia, David E. Manthey Winston Salem, North Carolina; brothers Peter Kennedy, Ted Kennedy, Sam Kennedy, Sister Regina Kennedy Mullett; and nine grandchildren.
