Obituary of Ove Valter Sandberg

Ove Sandberg passed away on Sunday January 12, 2020 in Reston at the age of 85. Born in Stockholm, Sweden January 17, 1934 he had the opportunity to live and work in several countries before moving to Herndon in 1987.  An avid lover of all things aviation he loved living near the Dulles International Airport and enjoyed many visits to the Smithsonian Institution Udvar- Hazy Space Center.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kerstin, daughter Annika, son-in-law Brian and his beloved grand-dogs Polly and Quincy the Basset Hounds.  Ove is predeceased in death by his father Valter, mother Dagmar and much loved grand-dogs Napoleon and Murphy the Basset Hounds.
