Dick and I liked meeting up with Howard and Becky at Joe's Pizzeria. Sometimes Howard would have granddaughters with him. He was always smiling and loved his barbeque chicken. He would tell us, if you want to meet come on barbeque chicken night. Our condolences to Becky, Sandra and Julie and extended families. Prayers that memories will keep him in your mind and heart.

WOW how do you sum up a person's life in a couple of lines. Howard is my first cousin. We spent many happy times together at family reunions. He would give different family members rides around the Cumberland Bowl in Jonesville, VA. Always respectful to everyone he meet. Gentle soul loved by all. We will miss Howard but will meet again in heaven. Becky, Julie, Sandra and granddaughters, we are so sorry for your loss. I pray our Lord and Savior will wrap His loving arms about you all and under gird you all with His strength through the coming days ahead. Lean on Him, He is there for us. Our loss is heavens gain. Love to all

I’m truly saddened by Howard’s passing, but encouraged by his life and legacy. I will not forget the kindness, respect and passion that he had for others. Most important, the love he had for Becky and his family was inspirational. Howard was the epitome of a husband, father, co-worker and friend!!! Instead of crying, live an inspired, spiritual and happy life like he did..... he would rather see you riding a motorcycle, visiting the mountains or spending time with family and friends.
Live each day with encouragement knowing that he’s smiling down on you from Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have so few words to express how sorry I am at this loss. You can tell the measure of a man by the love and joy you experience any time you encounter his beautiful children, they are such lovely expressions of the wonderful man he was. Every time I met Howard and Becky their love for each other was so beautiful, he clearly adored you all. My heart breaks for you and I send you my love and condolences.
