Obituary of Sheeree Sue Gilligan

Sheeree Sue Gilligan, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday February 1st, 2020, in Sterling, VA.
Sheeree was born in Hagerstown, MD on April 3rd, 1957, to Emmett and Joyce Moore. She graduated from Broad Run High School in 1975 and became a Respiratory Therapist. Sheeree compassionately helped others as a CRT for over 30 years. She loved her family above all, and her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Matthew Henriksen and wife Melanie; daughter, Melissa Gilligan and partner Thilo; mother, Joyce Moore; brother, David Moore and wife Pam. She was predeceased by her father, Emmett Moore and sister Karen Moore. Sheeree’s memory will be forever cherished by her family and close friends, and she will be deeply missed. The funeral service will be held on Sunday February 9th, 2020 at Adams-Green Funeral Home at 1pm located at 721 Elden Street Herndon, VA 20170. Interment will immediately follow at Sterling Cemetery.
