I will always remember marveling at the work Ron did painting his models and figures, and talking about movies and monsters with him... I wish we could have gone hunting for Bigfoot together. He was always so much fun to be around, always the life of the party, and he will be truly missed by us all. To Brenda and everyone in his life, I am so sorry for your loss.

I've never seen Ron without a smile on his face, and fondly remember he and Brenda's hospitality when we visited them in Chicago. My heart breaks for his wife and all of his family. He will be missed so very much by all who knew and loved him.

It is so rare in life that you meet someone for the first time whose heart is so warm that they melt you into a comfortable space and it just feels like a big hug. That was Ron to me. His smile was infectious, his laughter genuine and his overall personality just like the comfort of a warm blanket. My heart is broken for his family and Brenda and my tears are flowing as I read the beautiful sentiment in his memory. Life has lost someone so endearing, but I feel blessed to have had him part of my life.

To my dear sister-in-law, Brenda. You were the love of Ron's life and the light in his smile. He had a blessed life and he knew it. And we were blessed having him in our lives as well. Ron was always the life of the party and never passed up an opportunity to clown around. I remember the day I first met you. You came with Ron to Door County where we were having Thanksgiving. I'd never seen Ron so happy. I knew then Ron had found his soulmate. Never knew Ron and John could turn cleaning up the dishes into dinner theater, but they did. Bless you, my dear Brenda.
