Obituary of Hao Xuan Nguyen

MARIA Teresa Nguyen Xuan Hao

Maria Teresa Nguyen Xuan Hao, age 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15^th, 2020, at her home in Herndon, Virginia.

Maria Teresa Nguyen Xuan Hao was born on January, 4^th, 1930 in Saigon, Viet Nam. She was the daughter of Lauren Nguyen Xuan Thoi and Maria Nguyen Thi Sang. Maria Teresa Nguyen Xuan Hao graduated from High School and College in Vietnam, she then worked for the Viet Nam Department of Economic Affair. Maria Teresa Nguyen Xuan Hao was happily married to Trinh Hao Mang, who was her husband in life for almost 38 years at the time of his death.

Maria Teresa Nguyen Xuan Hao was a very active member of Catholic Mother’s Association in Our Lady of La Vang Mission Parish in Chantilly, Virginia since 2007 until present. She was passionately involved in Catholic community services.  She volunteered to be a prayer at individual homes, visiting the sick, as well as attending and helping funeral ceremonies for members of Catholic Community. Maria Teresa Nguyen Xuan Hao was a faithful Catholic Mother who continuously provided her children, grandchildren with solid Gospel based education, and always prayed for them to lead a faithful and virtuous life.

Maria Teresa Nguyen Xuan Hao is survived by her two younger sisters, six children and their families, including seven grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Family, friends, and Catholic community are invited to pray, reminisce, grieve and support each other for Maria Teresa Nguyen Xuan Hao.
