As a fellow high school goof growing up with Tim in the 70's, Tim's dad, Mr McGrath, always struck me as a man of greatness, awe, and mystery. There's a reason for that. Tim and I have had many conversations of the feats of courage of our fathers. Mr McGrath was one of the greatest in "The Greatest Generation". My sincere sympathy to their (and our) loss.

Condolences to the entire McGrath family. A truly great man and we are honored to have known him. His sense of humor and wit were always entertaining and appreciated. He will be sorely missed as the true patriarch of the McGrath clan.

Words can’t even begin to explain how much I will miss this man. He had the kindest soul of anyone I have ever encountered. When I met him, he used to always have me walk out the door before him- a true gentleman. He could always bring a smile to my face with his quick, witty jokes- especially when he would joke about how he was the best looking McGrath in the room (sorry, Jim!!! LOL). I will never forget the fond memories I have of our time together. It was an honor to know such a remarkable fella and be a part of his life.
My heart goes out to all of Mr. McGrath’s family and friends. He was so proud of all of you. He always told me was how lucky he was to have such a great family. I wonder if he knew that WE were the lucky ones.. He honestly was one in a million and he will be so missed.

My deepest sympathies to the McGrath family. Peg sold me my first house in 1973 and I got to meet all the McGraths. Tim and I became good friends and fellow investors long ago. Of course, life overtook everything and we lost contact.

My heart goes out to you, Kathi, Tim, Jim & Kevin...and to all of your families and friends that so loved your father. It has well been said that " a father's guiding hand always sits on the shoulder of his children", and this is what I think of when I remember your dad as well as the first time we met. Immediately, he made me feel so comfortable and welcome, and was always extremely quick witted. There will never be another man quite like him. I know wherever you are, he will always be looking over you, guiding you with his hand on your shoulder & his love in your heart. My prayer for you is that you reflect on the teachings, love, laughter and joy that both of your parents brought to your family and that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ give you His comfort and peace.

Kevin, Kathi, Tim and Jim,
My heart is aching for all of you, your children and grandchildren for the loss of your father, grandfather and great-grandfather. I have such fond memories of both your Mom and Dad especially when I visited Kevin in Miami the summer of '68. I remember the joy and fun your parents injected into your family times. Watching your parents during that time, I remember thinking "this is the kind of parent I want to be when I grow up."
I pray that all your individual and family memories help to sustain you during your times of grief. Your Dad was a beautiful person blessed with a long and interesting life.
I can just imagine your Mom welcoming him with open arms and a smile as he joined her in Heaven.
