I will fondly remember Lamar as a great friend and member of Floris United Methodist Church. I loved your warm smile, listening to your interesting stories and warm hugs on Sunday mornings at church. Rest In Peace my friend. So reassuring to know you are with Jesus.

Good friend and great mentor. Was a pleasure working with Lamar and spending time with him bass fishing in Louisiana.
Rest in peace my friend.

Lamar was a good friend. He was a great leader and hard worker. We worked together in the U.S. Forest Service and the National Forest Foundation. We kept in touch right up to the end. My respect and thanks to Jannette for taking such good care of Lamar. May he rest in peace.
