Diana Deomenica (Sunday) Teti left her loving family and friends on May 2nd after a brief battle with COVID-19.  She was a wonderful, loving, fun woman who cherished her family and friends above all else.  She will be missed by all whom knew her.

Diana was born June 30, 1932 in Wilmington DE to the late Daniel and Mary

(DiPietro) Veltre.  She came from humble beginnings and a simpler time that formed her values of faith, hard work and family. Diana attended Wilmington High School where she excelled scholastically and in multiple sports, and met her late husband Ralph to whom she was married for 53 years.  Diana worked as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper for several local Wilmington companies prior to performing similar roles for her husband's company, Gemini Tile Company in Kennett Square, PA.

Diana loved life and had many passions but nothing was more important to her than her family and friends.  She spent as much time as possible with them and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Her faith and Italian roots helped build family traditions that will continue for generations.  She loved to cook for family and friends especially during the holidays.  Diana was blessed to have a close, loving family, but also life-long friends from high school.  Diana and Ralph enjoyed traveling with friends, playing pinochle and spending summers at their beach house on the Delaware shore.  Her motto was as long as you have faith, family, friends

and food, you have everything you'll ever need.   Diana always had a talent

for painting, which led her to open a ceramics business with her life-long friend Betty P.  While residing at Ashleigh at Lansdowne in Virginia, she spent countless hours expressing herself through her painting.

Diane is survived by two sisters Julia Regenauer and Filomena Duncan (husband Richard), sister-in-law Joyce Veltre, her two daughters Karen Vanarthos and Karla Giannetta (husband Rob),  daughter-in-law Sondy Teti, seven grandchildren  Jonathan Vanarthos, Janell Vanarthos, Robert Giannetta, Jr. Dana Bowman (husband Steven), Stephen Teti, Shannon Teti, Samantha Teti and her ten great grandchildren Aubrey, Miles and Nathan Bowman, Lexi, Santino, Jolena, Scott, Paige, Cameron and Blayke.

Diana is predeceased by her husband Ralph E. Teti, son Steven A. Teti, sister Valerie Veltre and brother Daniel Veltre.

Diana touched many hearts and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Diana's family invite you to attend a livestream Catholic Burial mass from Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Sterling VA on May 7th at 12:30pm via ourladyofhope.net/stream.   A private Interment will be held at Cathedral Cemeteries located in Wilmington DE.
