Thank you Dr. Ascrizzi for everything you've provided and the impact you had on my life. I feel blessed to have memories of you. During regular check-ups, Dr. Ascrizzi would always talk about different topics he's read which helped me become inquisitive of understanding the world we live in. His kindness and the manner he carried himself should be the standard of being respectful and maintaining excellence.
I hope to make you proud one day. I strive to this day to reach for the high standards Dr. Ascrizzi set.

Dr. Ascrizzi was always such a nice and caring person, and excellent doctor. Even 20+ years later, as an adult, I can still remember his kind-hearted & welcoming nature every time we visited RTC pediatric. Very few people in the world can have such a long-lasting postive impact on people, and Dr. Ascrizzi was certainly one of them.
My family and I were very saddened to hear about his passing, and our condolences and prayers are with his family & friends.

I am saddened by the news of the loss of Dr. Ascrizzi! He was one of the first Drs. to see my daughter when she was flown to Children's Hospital at birth. As I was not able to leave my hospital right away to be with her, he took an interest in her care. He followed her at Children's over the next couple of years until we moved. A few years later, our paths crossed again when Dr. Ascrizzi came to The Reston Town Center Pediatrics and saw her name on the patient list! No one had ever seen a child with my daughter's condition (surviving with only half a heart) and yet, here walks in the same Dr. that saw her on day 1 at Children's and who knew all of her in's and outs! A true Godsend to Sarah and our family will never forget him or his touch on our daughter's life!

We are so deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Ascrizzi's passing and share our deepest condolences to the family. Dr. Ascrizzi was such an amazing, loving and caring pediatrician to my three children. We chose Reston Town Center Pediatrics in part due to Dr. Ascrizzi's gentle and caring nature. In particular, my middle child had broncholitis when he was an infant and he was so susceptible to so many common viruses. I recall a particular instance where Dr. Ascrizzi had recommended that we had to go to the emergency room to ensure that he would be okay. We had so much faith and confidence in him and it was the best choice for our son. I have such fond memories of our annual visits with him. Everlasting be his memory and may the family find some comfort in knowing that he was cherished by many of his patients. May he rest in peace.

Zane and I send our condolences to Dr. Ascrizzi's family - it's heartbreaking to find out as we were hoping to see him again this summer for Zane's annual physical - his 19th with Reston Town Center Pediatrics and directly with Dr. Ascrizzi many of those years. We will miss his humor and kindness, his ability to put us at ease and to make the annual visit enjoyable. Our condolences to your family. Dr. Ascrizzi was our children's pediatrician from birth, he was calming, positive, and reassuring to us as new parents. Our family was transferred to CA for several years and when we returned at our first appointment with him without missing a beat he said I remember you guys and started recalling specifics about our family. My children loved seeing Dr. Ascrizzi-there was a true connection. He always took the time to listen and talk with the kids and us as parents. I am so very sorry for your loss. I've known Dr. Ascrizzi for many years as he cared for all three of my children - Chris, Skylar (deceased), and Clark. Patient, kind and caring, he was the first doctor we met at Reston Town Center Pediatrics twenty-four years ago. He attended my son, Skylar's funeral, and I so appreciated his presence. He told me of his time in residency, delivering babies, in a low-income clinic - a story I shared with my oldest. I'm sure Dr. Ascrizzi's gentle manner influenced my oldest who is now pursuing medicine. He will be sorely missed.

We have known Dr. Ascrizzi nearly two decades ago when our older son was born and we knew he wasn't only an amazing MD where we felt that our kids were in good hands, but also a great teacher for us as new parents.
It was very painful, very disheartening ,very saddening to find out about his passing as I immediately recalled his personal and professional demeanor and how he treated us each time to came to the office.
Even though, our family has moved outside the US a long time ago, with our kids being teenagers now,he certainly left a very long lasting impression on us.
We will always remember the world-class care he has provided to our kids and feel fortunate that we have met him.
Our deepest sympathies go out to his wife, kids and to the entire staff at the Reston town Center Pediatrics.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Vincent passing. Prayers going up for his entire family. I have always had the greatest respect for him, both personally and professionally. Back in 1993 he saved my then-3-year-old daughter’s life... She had developed a high fever during the night and he said to come in first thing in the morning. He wasted no time in diagnosing pyelonephritis, wrapped her up in a blanket, handed her to me, and had me walk across the street where someone was waiting at the hospital to take her up to her room...No paperwork. He had her on IVs and on the mend before lunchtime. I’m so sorry my 4-year-old granddaughter will not be able to grow up with him!

Just read of Vince's passing when catching up with unread newspapers and I am so very sad. He was a wonderful chaperone on several Langley orchestra trips and I loved getting to know him and watching him with his lovely daughters. It was clear just how much he loved them and how strong their relationships were, such a terrific thing to see. Vince had such a gentle way about him, he was much admired among the other chaperones by how he managed groups of young women. Great with kids, young adults and adults too, he was so much fun to be with, so smart, funny and curious about the world. I am really really sad to learn he is gone, it is a true loss to our community, his patients and the world. Thinking of you Kitty, Michelle and Molly and wishing I could hug all three of you and express my deep sorrow.

Dr. Ascrizzi will be greatly missed. He was such a humble and caring man who also had a knack for figuring out strange symptoms. He was such a problem solver who would find an old text from his office and come back to the exam room to show me his confirmed diagnosis. He was always spot on. When my kids had their first year check up, I took a picture of him holding my son. I showed him the picture and he said, “oh look, I came good there!” I confirmed that he was a New Yorker or from New Jersey. Only those northerners use that phrase. God bless you Dr. Ascrizzi. He took you too soon but understand that he needed you more.

Vincent was my brother and I will miss him dearly. He was also the kindest and most caring person I have ever known. We spent our childhood playing games, building forts, riding bikes, playing jokes on each other. We built our first vegetable garden together in middle school. We pooled our money and purchased our first 2 record albums. He used to play his guitar late at night and I would listen through the wall between our rooms as I fell asleep. As we grew older, we shared mutual friends and remained close socially. He had an incredible sense of humor and made me laugh constantly. He was the pediatrician for my 3 children the first few years of their life. After Dad passed away he became our rock. I know our Dad met him at the Gate with a bottle of wine! Vin taught me patience and dedication. And he set the bar high for all of us. My heart goes out to Molly, Kitty, and Michelle. I love you all.

Vin's father was my cousin on my mother's side of the family. It was a large Italian family and we all lived within 5 blocks of each other in Brooklyn. As the first line of cousins began to get married and have children of their own most migrated from Brooklyn. Despite the separation we tried to remain close and always had a great time whenever we would get together. I was the first in the family to become a doctor and 3 others including Vin went on to become doctors as well. In 2006 my wife and I went to Italy and stayed with the Ascrizzi clan in a home they were renting. Vin, Molly and the girls were there as well and we spent a wonderful time together. We would catch up a various family get together; a giant cousin reunion in Ocean City, NJ orchestrated by Vin's dad, family weddings and sadly at some funerals. There were annual Christmas cards and with the advent of Facebook even more ways to stay in touch. Vin, our cousin Frank and I shared time together at a recent family wedding just talking medicine, the changing atmosphere of medical practice and catching up with each other. It was the last time I saw and spoke with Vin. A precious memory to hold on to. His passing is such a sad and great loss. He was one of the special ones. RIP cuz.

Vincent and I are cousins and grew up together in NJ. We were both the youngest of the cousins and I was always tired of being called the "baby". My only chance of being the older cousin was to play with Vin and pretend he was my little brother. Through the years we both did our own thing and by chance I saw him at a recent Ascrizzi wedding. Something made me share with him how I always wished he was my little brother. We shared a a little tear and a good long hug. Now in hindsight I am so glad I got to tell him even though we didn't see much of each other, he was always important to me. Rest in peace little bro...love you always.
