I worked with Bijan at Loudoun County in the 1990s and early 2000s. I remember Bijan as always steady and willing to answer a question or impart his vast knowledge. I remember a gentle smile and calming manner. I'm sorry to learn of his passing.

The memories and the inspiration he brought forth are precious.
I missed Bijan the first week he was not at work.
First came tears when I found out Bijan was no longer with us then when remembering Bijan's ways there came the smiles.

My deepest condolences to the family. Bijan was my Boss, mentor and big brother. He put me on track for a successful professional career since I started at the County in 2001. He was very approachable, understanding and loving. I used to discuss with him various topics other than work such as political events and languages.
