Obituary of Dorothy S. May

Dorothy S. May, age 82 of Herndon, VA, formerly of Baton Rouge, LA died on January 19, 2008 at Cameron Glen Nursing Center, Reston, VA. She was born on September 30, 1925 in Erwinville, LA to the late Albert A. and Florence Sikes. She was the beloved wife of 61 years of Henry W. May, loving and devoted mother of Bridget A. May of Herndon, VA. She worked as a registered nurse at Baton Rouge General Hospital for 20 years. She also served as a girl scouts leader for her daughter for 10 years. Dorothy was a faithful and devoted servant of Christ for 70 years. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 25 th at 2pm at Kendrick Court Senior Apartments, 13430 Coppermine Road, Herndon, VA. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Floris United Methodist Church, 2730 Centreville Road, Herndon, VA 20171 or Sovereign Grace Church, 5200 Ox Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.
