Vernon Douglas Maynor, 72 of Herndon, Virginia passed away on June 10, 2009. Mr. Maynor was born August 2, 1937 in West Virginia. He was survived by his loving wife of 47 ½ years, Donna Maynor of Herndon, VA. He is also survived by two sons, Charles Maynor and his wife Kathleen of Herndon, VA and Shawn Maynor also of Herndon; 1 granddaughter Alden Maynor; sister Dorothy Thomas of Greenville, Texas; brother Charles Maynor of Sterling, VA; sister-in-law, Fonda Lane of Jonesboro, GA and 14 nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 11:00 am at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA. Burial was at Quantico National Cemetery.
