I believe that in 1967 Donald Joseph Yellman was the Consul of the United States stationed in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.
The Consulate was situated on the Paseo de Montejo Ave.
Thanks to Mr Yellman's help I was able to married my husband (who was a native of Houston, TX)
I never forgot his name.
I know that God is taking care of him now.

So proud of Don and all he accomplished in life. I was in High School with Don. I remember seeing him and wife at a High School Reunion some years ago. Will keep his wife and family in my prayers. God Bless you all. Leah Hyde

A good friend and neighbor, for 20 years. Don and I had many chats, in his working garage, covering so many issues . It was always enjoyable......I suppose since we were politically and philosophically aligned. Yes, life moves on, but there are certainly special people, one meets in a lifetime, and Don was that person for me.
