I am so saddened to see Mr. Smith has passed away!! I was his student at Beech Tree Elementary the first year he taught there. He has always been one of my favorite teachers. He always made learning fun and exciting!! I have talked about him for years to my own kids. He loved his family and spoke of.them often. I loved when his wife would visit as she was just as wonderful!! I have always wanted to find him to say thank you for being such a wonderful man!! God bless his family!! How blessed we have all been to know someone so kind!! Kim Stacks

I was sad to learn of Frank’s passing today. I enjoyed seeing him almost every day when I worked at the senior center. I have many fond memories of him and Elsie. They are both so missed. I will be praying for your family that you will find peace and comfort in Jesus in the days ahead.

Mr. Smith and I stayed in touch through the years. He is the reason I am who I am today and why I became a teacher after years in the private sector. I will always love you Mr. Smith and will miss your Christmas cards very much.
Love,
Magen McCrosky

Frank was a big part of my tenure as a teacher at Clearview Elementary School in Herndon, VA. He was a mentor and friend and was never seen without a smile. I admired him greatly and so enjoyed our talks about military life and our travels. A man of great faith, he will be missed but not forgotten. Peace & Blessings!

To our three cousins,
Was so sorry to hear Uncle Frank passed away,
Phil and I always enjoyed when he came to visit,
Mom will now have her brother up there with their parents.
I know it will take a long time for you three as I’m still
coping with mom passing.
Take it slow and we love you all.
Love Phil & Cindy Rogers

Frank was a great man in all areas of his life. He was loving and giving to everyone. He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. There will be an empty space in his church pew and an empty spot in our hearts. But we know he is with God and dancing with Elsie!!
