Obituary of Carol Jeanne Causa

Carol Causa, 70, passed away at her home in Ashburn, VA surrounded by family on August 26, 2020.

Born July 1950, Carol was the daughter of the late W. Stewart Hughes Jr. and Jeanne Frances Scott Hughes. She graduated from Easton Area High School in Pennsylvania in 1968. 

Carol found happiness in volunteering with abused and neglected toddlers and infants at Saint Ann's Center for Children, Youth & Families; she also worked with the Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter. She loved her family most of all, and enjoyed trips and activities with her grandsons, Niall and Jack. Carol was an admirer of fine art, music, and nature. 

She is survived by her children J. Timothy Causa (Izzy) and Jill Causa, both of Reston, VA, and Lori Causa Snyman (Phillip) of Williamsburg, NY; grandchildren, Niall Dickens and Jack Causa; brother, Scott Hughes (Kimberly) of Loganville, GA; and nieces and nephews, Brandon Hughes, Whitney Hughes, Andrea Hughes, and Carly Hughes. Along with her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, William "Bill" Hughes.
