Cousin Jack was mostly happy when our families were together. Especially if it included his younger brother Gary. Jack had an infectious laugh, a wonderful warmth and smile to share. I loved hearing him talking and joking with my parents and hearing him call out to “Uncle Sammy” with a quick witted comment to the joke my Dad would tell. He was closer to my sister Cheryl and he would ignore Gary and I making trouble in the other room with the dog, or sliding down the stairs when we were very young. He was such a good brother to Gary and and incredible Dad to Chrissy. I wish we had more time...... Love you Jack

I enjoyed Jack's company at Laurel Race Track I worked with his horses when they were with Ricky Sillamen and you could just feel the love he felt for those animals we would talk for hrs he always had a good story to tell ! Then I found myself once agian with him and his horses when working for Ferris Allen and still more stories of days past ! When his horse ran and won he could not have been more happy we were so excited for him he did everything for that Mare and really loved her ! Right before he passed he bought in 2 babies and he was so excited about training them for future wins we still have them so I will be watching them grow for ya Jack gonna miss our talks and seeing you everyday ! C u in the winners circle Jack !! PRAYERS TO YOUR FAMILY he talked about all of you all the time !!

Jack was an amazingly enthusiastic friend. His love of live and particularly his love of horses was unending. He would come to visit us in Aiken S.C. and of course would have to play some polo while visiting. The conversations would mostly revolve about memories from the past, back in Michigan, old horses, polo in Forida and of course race horses.
Chrissy and her family were a real joy for him. They were always a part of our conversations. He was full of positivity which was contagious. We loved him and cherished our friendship. When he won his recent race he sent us the photo and it will be hung in a prominent place in our home.. we will surely miss him.
