I just learned of Bob’s passing. I was fortunate enough to have worked with Bob at the Department of Justice. He was a wonderful colleague and friend. And the funniest person I have known. We would stand in the hallway and pretend we were operating a variety store in Brooklyn. We would look down the empty halls of the Appellate Section and lament the lack of business and the high prices of plastic fish. He brought such joy and laughter to an otherwise overly serious place. He was loved.
