Obituary of Lihui Zhang

Our beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend Lihui Zhang, 49, passed away peacefully in September 2020 in Fairfax, Virginia.

Lihui grew up in Beijing, China and graduated from Northern Jiaotong University.  She moved to Virginia in 1995 and received a Master's degree from George Mason University.  She worked as a technical lead for Freddie Mac, Senior Software Engineer for Verisign and Lecturer for Northern Virginia Community College.  But most of all her greatest accomplishment was being a wife and mother.  She treasured and loved her children and embraced every moment with them.  She was an active member of the local PTA and Cub Scouts.  She also was an avid runner, swimmer, hiker, camper and enjoyed reading books.

Lihui is survived by her husband, two lovely boys, her parents, sister and two nieces whom Lihui loved deeply.  

Visitation will be held at the Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, Virginia on Friday, September 11th from 11:00AM until 1:00PM.  To ensure visitor's safety with social distance, we are requesting that you sign up for a 10-minute slot during the visitation hours (Signup Link).

A celebration of life for Lihui is planned for late November and family and friends will be notified of the details.

情人怨遥夜，竟夕起相思。
