Obituary of Greyson Cole Mazich

On Wednesday, September 2, 2020 Greyson Cole Mazich of Great Falls, VA went to be with our Heavenly Father.  Born on November 5, 1998 Grey was the son of Thomas and Delaine Early Mazich and brother of Thomas Cade and Nathaniel Lee Mazich.  Grey was 21 years old and just starting his senior year at Clemson University seeking his degree in Business Management with an expected graduation date of May 2021.  He was the grandson of Elizabeth Mazich and the late Harry Mazich of Point Pleasant, NJ and Jackee Early and the late Dibe Early of Hazelwood, NC.

 

Grey was a great friend to so many and loved his family.  He was an exceptional athlete and while attending Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, MD served as Captain of both the Varsity Football and Rugby teams.  Grey had many hobbies including riflery, playing and enjoying music, cooking, and debating politics. 

 

A private funeral was held at The Georgetown Preparatory School, the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, N. Bethesda, MD on Friday, September 11,2020 and broadcast live at Mclean Bible Church in Mclean, VA. Grey was laid to rest immediately following the service in the Lovettsville Union Cemetery in Virginia, where his Sigma Chi fraternity brothers performed a ceremonial White Rose service graveside.
