How do you say goodbye to your very best friend? To wake up every day knowing I'll never see you again or hold you or hear your voice is so hard. I miss our time together. You were smart, witty, considerate and loved life. You considered your greatest achievement to be how kind and self-supportive David , Diane and Melissa turned out. The grandchildren will always remember the "Tickle Monster".Our 36 years were filled with adventures and joy and love. I will be forever thankful for having you in my life. Till we meet again---all my love.

Over the past 30+ years I have had the good fortune to be on Bruce’s radar and, along with his wife Beverly, have had the privilege of calling both of them business colleagues and friends. I first met Bruce when he was with the National Wholesale Druggists’ Association (now known as the Healthcare Distribution Alliance). Over the years, Bruce and Beverly contributed to the magazines I was a part of. Both became Special Projects Editors of our HealthCare Distributor magazine. Bruce was always ready to offer me his sage advice both professionally and personally. I will always cherish our lively phone conversations and our face-to-face visits. And, I will miss his quick, sharp wit as well as his easy smile and his high-spirited laugh. As Ron Streck wrote on Bruce’s Tribute Wall, “Now, Heaven will have to deal with his incredible sense of humor.” Yes it will. He was one of kind—the best kind.
My prayers are with Beverly and his family during this sad and difficult time. My love to you all.

To Beverly and Family,
I share your grief over the loss of such a great husband, father and friend.
Bruce had that uncanny ability to cut to the chase and just get it done when we worked together.
He was so bright and articulate. His sense of humor was undeniable.
We had some wonderful times together. Now, Heaven will have to deal with his incredible sense of humor.
Prayers to you all.

To my brother,
I whispered to you on the phone,
it's time for you to go home.
You squeezed Beverly's hand,
I knew that you would understand.
God knew you needed rest,
and he only takes the best.
But I will see you in the end,
when the Lord comes back again.
You are my brother and my friend,
and it all ends as it began.
My memories of you are clear,
It's like looking in a mirror.
The times that we both had,
makes me smile, makes me glad.
Now it's time for me to say goodbye,
so I will look for you up high.
I love you and miss you so,
my friend, my brother, my bro.
But it's time for you to go.
R.I.P. Love, Your brother, Abby

I'm so sorry to hear this. I knew Bruce's health was failing, but it's still not easy to know he's gone. I haven't spoken with him in over 20 years, but I still have fond and vivid memories.
Bruce was and is to this day, my favorite/best boss ever!!! I worked for him at NWDA for a couple of years before he retired. I was so sad when he left, my job was never the same. Not only did I miss his leadership and mentoring, but he made work enjoyable. He was kind; he believed in people and encouraged their growth; He was funny, I don't think anyone would ever say he was all business...he loved to have fun and play practical jokes. He celebrated life to the fullest! In many ways, he talked a big game but was a pussy cat inside. His love for and pride in his family was evident. I am a much better person for having known him!
My deepest condolence to his family and close friends. Praying for comfort, peace, and the joy that comes in the morning!

For those of you who had the pleasure of knowing Bruce Siecker, join me in a toast to a life well-lived. Bruce was a mentor while I was a student pharmacist and he was our staff contact at APhA. He had a profound positive influence on many of us. Along with our region 5 advisor during college, Bill Tindall, we three became friends and colleagues. I was touched by Bruce's love and loyalty to his family, friends and profession. He was a joy to work for and with during my decade with the wholesale trade association. He was instrumental in so many ways to creating a more efficient and effective forward and reverse supply chain. He will always be known for his landmark work developing a cost accounting system for the pharmacy profession. He had a unique ability to bridge academia and the business world, and bring those two together in a number of fantastic research projects that forwarded supply chain management through the wholesalers foundation. I will miss him and his huge contributions to the profession. My thoughts go out to Beverly and his family.

I am so sad to hear of Bruce's passing. While I haven't spoken to him in a while, I have fond memories of him. Bruce and I were colleagues at HDMA for many years starting at the Oronoco St. office. I immediately admired his intellect, industriousness and good humor and we became great friends. He was well liked by staff, hosts of HDMA members and colleagues at our sister industry associations. In addition to our association work, he and I spent time talking about our childhoods, mine in upstate NY and his in northern IN. Some of his memorable stories were during his time as a practicing pharmacist and the questions and requests customers would ask of him during any given day. I would laugh until I couldn't laugh anymore! I still have a file of jokes I collected from him over the years, many of which were original material.
Bruce was a joy to work with and I missed him a lot when he retired from the association. Over the years, I enjoyed getting to know Beverly and their terrific children and it's clear that his family was a great blessing to him.
I am blessed to have known Bruce and pray for his eternal peace,
Nancy Henneberger

When I think of all the good times Bruce and I shared with friends, colleagues, and family it reminds me to smile at the memories of those good times rather than feel the pain of his loss. So I won't say Good Bye to my friend but rather try to live more fully knowing that we shall meet again someday.
I was blessed to have Bruce in my life...many events will not be forgotten, such as: the day when I picked him up at the airport in my newly running 48 Ford and it broke down on the interstate, the many times we were together at AACP or APhA meetings, the many New Years Eves we were together, time shared in Bruce and Beverly's Florida condo, the special time we had together in Scotland, the many, many lunches at Cracker Barrel, but especially wearing a white tuxedo for his wedding to Beverly on the hottest day in PA history.
Bruce was a blessing in my life as his insights, wry sense of humor, brilliant mind, and personal support helped me through our several decades of academic and association careers. When you lose someone who can remember who and what you were at the start of your career, then a part of your life and history is also lost.
May God grant Bruce his eternal rest and his wife and family the strength to navigate through his loss. I take comfort in knowing it was a privilege for me to have had such a good, long-standing, and loyal friend. With Love: Bill Tindall

My experiences with Bruce go back to the '70s. They spanned several organizations and several decades. We especially enjoyed several New Year's Eve parties with Bruce and Beverly at the Tindalls' home, when we lived in the DC area. Our sympathies go to Beverly and the family. Bruce was a really good guy and one we were privileged to know.

I’m so sad to hear about Bruce’s passing. My deepest condolences to the family. I met Bruce in the ‘70s when he was a consultant to a small company that I worked for. We had instant rapport because of a shared sense of humor and we had many wonderful funny lunches together. We stayed good friends for years and he brought me to work for him at NWDA. I attended his wedding to Beverly. Unfortunately we lost touch but Bruce was and will remain one of my favorite people. Smart as a whip and funny as heck! An all around great guy.

Our sincerest condolences to the family of Bruce Siecker. I graduated from high school with Bruce and my husband and I spent many fun, memorable times together with Bruce in the late 60's. We worked together at Walgreen's in Hammond, Indiana where Bruce was a pharmacist. As my husband has said many times, Bruce was the funniest guy he ever had the privilege to know. Sadly we lost touch when Bruce move out East and we moved West. I am Abby & Barbara Siecker's cousin.
Our prayers are with his family during this sad time.
