Obituary of Ronald Stephen Kinard
Ronald Stephen Kinard
7/1/52 – 9/23/20
Stephen, age 68 of Sterling, Virginia, passed away suddenly in his home on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020.
Stephen is preceded in death by his loving wife, Ronda, his parents, Ronald “Ken” Kinard and Carolyn “Betty” Kinard, two brothers, Hollis and Kenneth Kinard and a brother in law, Robert Soden.
He is survived by two sisters, Caroline Soden of Stephen’s City, Virginia, and Cathleen Shepherd of Charles Town, West Virginia, and one brother Keven Kinard and his wife Julie of Manassas, Virginia.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He also had many fur-children throughout the years.
He graduated from Herdon High School in 1970, where he lettered in wrestling, placing 2nd in the state championship. He became a professional boxer while living in the state of Georgia before moving back home to help with the family exterminating business.
He retired last year from his long time profession in Pest Control.
He loved sports and was an avid fan of the Redskins. You would often see him at the field watching them practice. He went to the gym, rode his bike and played an amazing game of pool. He loved to write and was very artistic. He also had a great knowledge of history, especially The Civil War.
We will be having a celebration of life for him and his wife Ronda on Sunday, October 4th, 2020 at 2:00pm at 390 Stickley Drive, Stephen City, Virginia, 22655. It would have been their 45th anniversary.
