As a friend of Jennifer, Carrol's daughter, I had the pleasure of spending some time with Carrol and Ralph several times. They were both quietly loving and dignified people, traits I got to know better in Jennifer as we became friends and raised children of the same ages. Carrol exemplified for me a life lived in service to others, particularly "the children" as she said. She will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered. ~ Lyn Holmes
