Dear Wiley Family,
Knoble was such a dear family friend. From singing in the Voices of Praise at Florida Avenue Baptist Church, Sterling and he sharing thoughts about their Packers, to rejoicing in the birth of his beautiful granddaughter Brookelynn, the memories of Knoble will last forever. I will miss the text messages and pictures he would share as well as the stories and jokes he would tell. Please know that those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they have shared and the love they brought into our lives.
Our deepest condolences,
Deborah, Crystal and Sterling Robinson

Every time I would see Mr. Wiley, I knew we would share a whole bunch of laughs. He was one of the few people on earth who was capable of brightening anybody’s day. In addition, you always felt that he knew exactly where you coming from. He was always ready to give you good advice if you asked for it. What a great man. You will be missed but we will meet again.

“UNCLE KNOBLE”, that’s what I called him and he wasn’t even my real uncle but he didn’t mind. I remember the first time I met him. He made me feel so welcome and comfortable right away. Uncle Knoble was one of the most generous men I have ever met. He was an extremely caring and kind man. There will never be another man quite like him and his memory will live on forever. Let the memories of your father provide you with comfort and serve as guidance. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

We will forever cherish our memories of Knoble. I(Charlotte) recently had a laughter-filled phone conversation with him. He was in town visiting his son in Silver Springs, MD. I was the Choir Director of the Voices of Praise of Florida Avenue Baptist Church for many years, and Knoble was one of my 'TOP' basses I relied on to hold down the Bass section with excellence. My husband, Reggie, sang tenor, and he and Knoble along with all of the 'Voices' held him in the greatest affection and respect. He was such a fun-loving guy. The Bass section called themselves the "the Fruit of the Loom guys" and often gathered for relaxing fun outings most likely initiated by Knoble.
"When someone you love dies....you never get over it. You just slowly get through each day. But you always keep them tucked within your heart."
Sincerely,
Reginald and Charlotte Lewis

This is a great picture of Knoble! And it's just like I always picture him, smiling, ready to enjoy life. I'm so sorry that he's gone, from our neighborhood, and from this world, which he made a better place.

Knoble loved the Lord and was always ready to serve in any manner required. Even though he was a member of Antioch, he took one Sunday each month to visit Hood Temple AME Zion Church in Richmond. His warm presence will be missed by the entire congregation. Rest well my Friend.
